My story

When I first started incubating birds, I ran into all sorts of issues, from batches that didn't hatch, chicks that came out looking like they'd been doused in syrup, to eggs that quit halfway through incubation.
And yes, I followed the incubator's instructions.
I even looked up articles and YouTube videos. None of their advice seemed to work.
I finally had enough of it. I began researching how hatcheries and breeders get hatch rates of 90% or more, delving into all the info I could find.
And I made some interesting discoveries...
Like the fact that most thermostats in incubators do not read the temperature accurately.

And the fact that some popular incubator designs are inherently flawed and will adversely affect your hatch. (I ended up tossing my incubator because it was badly designed.)

And the most common cause of poor hatches has to do with improper temperature, and with just a bit of tweaking and putting a separate thermometer in your incubator, you can see amazing results.

How you store and source the eggs prior to hatching is as important as the incubation process.

Sanitize, sanitize, sanitize! Bacteria is your #1 enemy!

When I started following the practices of these breeders and hatcheries, I was amazed at the results. Suddenly, my eggs weren't quitting halfway through incubation and were hatching on time into strong, healthy chicks that didn't have leg or respiratory issues.
Since I noticed many people on social media and forums struggling with getting good hatches, I decided to compile this guide, which contains secrets from hatcheries and breeders on how to get the best possible hatch rates.

More features:
01
Basic breakdown of the Fundamentals of artificial incubation
All the basics are covered: from temperature control, to humidity, to lockdown, to turning and candling eggs. All explained in an easy-to-understand but detailed style, so you'll know exactly what to do to get the best hatch possible.
03
Answers to common troubleshooting
The guide contains a section addressing common issues and how to address them, giving you a quick reference in the case of problems arising.
02
Info on collecting and sourcing hatching eggs.
This is a commonly overlooked aspect of incubating eggs. Getting a successful hatch starts at the very beginning, before the eggs is laid, even. You're find in-depth details on how to source eggs from breeders and eBay and how to handle your own flock's eggs before setting them, in order to maximize their hatch rates.
04
A full section dedicated to the internal processes happening inside the egg during incubation
The guide contains a full section with full-color photos detailing the fascinating processes happening inside the eggs during incubation. The process is broken down day-by-day so that you know exactly what's happening inside the egg every day, so you'll have a better understanding of what's happening during incubation.
And if you’re running a business...
Let’s do a little math. If you set 100 eggs, and only 50 hatch, you have lost around 25 female chicks.
Those female chicks could have gone on to lay 300 eggs each in a year.
If you had hatched those eggs and sold those chicks for $3 each, you would have made $22,500 in one year!
That poor hatch rate caused a loss of $22,500.
The price of this guide is a tiny investment compared to that!
Hatch rates are one of the most important factors to contribute to the success of a poultry business.

If anything...they are THE factor.
If you have poor hatch rates...your business is has failed before it’s even gotten started.
